Automobile Museum
One of the main museums of Turin and the best one of its class in Italy, was fully renovated in 2011 as part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy.
This museum outstands not only because of its exceptional collections and displays in the capital of the Italian automobile industry, but also because of its architectural design which has made of it a unique landmark of the city.
Collections, displayed in a chronological order, are integrated into special ambiences that transport us to the years they relate to.
Exhibits range from the precursors of the automobile to the latest experimental models, as well as both classic and racing cars.
They are completed by animations and detailed explanations that describe the process of conception and creation and the reasons for the success of some iconic models. An extensive database completes the museum.

The presence of this museum in Turin is not accidental; It is here in Turin where in 1899 the biggest Italian car maker, FIAT, was created. A few years later, at the beginning of the 20th century, the city already had over 250 workshops producing both cars and their components.
